collar trend.

September 1st, 2010
The key to the buttoned-up look is to make it look put together, collected.
Pair your collar shirt with a pair of nice slacks.  For something more edgy, try pairing it with a leather skirt.
You can accessorize by wearing a chain necklace, even a pin or broach will add a nice touch.
What to avoid when accessorizing? Ties.  (much too dominate for the dainty- female look)

ruched sleeve blazer- $110

socks with heels.

We are all aware of the knee-high sock trend for fall 10, so what about their shorter counterpart?  Ankle and mid-calf socks with heels for a female-cutesy look is also great for fall!
For those of you in cooler climates, try wearing the socks over stockings or tights to add great layers.
What socks to wear for your body style:
-If you have long/thin legs, try wearing shorter socks that are bunched at the bottom.
-For those of you who don’t have those “model legs” try wearing a thinner fabric sock, mid calf, that don’t bunch.  (they tend to shorten the leg when bunched)
slinky rouched ankle sock- $6

ribbon pelerine sock- $6
lace up platform heal- $228

With the seasons changing soon, what better way to transition into those neutrally-hued clothes than with a truly great piece of jewelry.  All pieces striking, with just the right hint of color, but subtle enough to be seasonally appropriate.

I encourage you to shop The Vamoose Here!
