Born and raised in a small town in Iowa, Jaymi always had the urge to part from her friends and family and move west, to Los Angeles. Right after graduating high school in 2006, she was accepted into FIDM/Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising where she graduated with a degree in Fashion Design. She now attends class at UCLA, and plans to obtain her bachelors in business.
"A Girl Like You" blog started while planning future travels, and realized there was no better way to document her journeys than by using a blog, which then lead to the idea of documenting everything around her on a daily basis.
She is known for representing "chic and classy" style and for showcasing some of the greatest designers, photographers, restaurants, artists, styles and trends, while offering inspiration and ideas, and encouraging unique, personal style.
